Like many in the industry, Claire didn’t plan on working in insurance. What began as a “let’s see where this goes” opportunity quickly evolved into a meaningful career path. Over the years, she led a high-performing personal lines service team, played key roles in mergers and acquisitions, and contributed to branding and client experience initiatives. Along the way, she discovered a talent for simplifying complex workflows and turning them into processes that teams could follow with ease.

Because of this skill, Claire became a trusted leader and problem-solver. It also paved the way for her shift into consulting, where she could use those abilities to help a wide range of agencies succeed. Claire’s agency-side background gives her valuable insight into what agencies truly need to grow and thrive. She understands the balance between client service, operational efficiency, and revenue goals.

Her consulting work covers a wide range of needs. For example, she helps agencies improve client retention, optimize management systems, and train their teams for long-term success. She’s fluent in AMS360, PL Rating, Agency Zoom, and Hawksoft. Most importantly, she knows how to apply these tools strategically to streamline operations. Claire lives in Maryland with her husband, Dane, and their two kids, Jackson and Casey. Outside of work, she focuses on family, enjoys the outdoors, and looks for moments of calm in a busy world.

Angela is a popular speaker at NetVU conferences whether it be a local Chapter meeting, virtual webex session or National Conference. This is due to her experience with the Insurance Industry and passion for Insurance Agency Professionals. Angela has been in the Insurance Industry since 1980. She has held various positions with Carriers including System Interaction Specialist, Personal Lines Underwriter, Commercial Lines Underwriter. In 1992 Angela became a Licensed Property & Casualty agent for a large Brokerage firm in the Washington area specializing in Financial Products before joining Vertafore in 1996. While at Vertafore Angela Painter worked primarily in Development as a Senior Business Analyst and Product Manager on AfW and the AMS360 product since its inception. As the AMS360 Product Manager Angela worked closely with Agencies, Sales, Support, Implementation, Training and Development Teams to analyze, research, prioritize, design, and implement features within the AMS360 system.
