Not everyone finds insurance by accident. For Angela Bunch, it was a calling. Her first taste came at 14, helping her mom transcribe claims interviews for adjusters. While most teens were glued to TV, Angela was immersed in liability disputes and accident details – and loving every second of it.
“There was something about the complexity, the humanity, the problem-solving—it hooked me early,” she recalls. By 18, she was licensed and officially in the game.
Watching her mom transition from claims into the agency side sealed the deal: “She reinvented herself and showed me what was possible with hustle, brains, and heart,” Angela says. “Every step since has been about pushing myself to grow, innovate, and elevate what this industry can be.”
With over 15 years in the insurance industry, Angela has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working on both the agency and carrier sides. Now serving as Western Regional Manager at Angela Adams Consulting, she brings a unique perspective that blends technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of agency operations.
Licensed in all 50 states, Angela has built her career around sales and customer service operations, with a focus on:

- Training and developing producers, account managers, and CSRs
- Enhancing client experiences with impactful learning and coaching paths
- Streamlining financial management with smart, technology-driven solutions

Angela’s advice to those starting in the insurance industry is both practical and empowering: “Knowledge is your superpower. Dive into everything – study the different lines of insurance, get to know the carriers, and don’t just skim the surface of your agency management system or software. Master it.”
She believes expertise opens doors: “Real change-makers don’t wait for permission—they earn it by understanding the landscape better than anyone else. You can’t reshape the industry if you don’t first know where it’s been. Learn it. Own it. Then break the mold.”
Based in South Carolina, Angela blends her deep technical knowledge with her passion for leadership to help independent agencies thrive.
Outside of work, Angela’s life is full of love, laughter, and family. She met her soulmate at just 16 – while making her very first sub at Subway. “I still remember it like it was yesterday: steak and cheese, pickles, salt, and mustard,” Angela laughs. “That simple sandwich kicked off a love story that’s now 27 years deep – 23 of those as husband and wife.”
Together, they’ve built a life centered on family, raising two amazing sons who are now stepping into adulthood. Watching them grow into their own has been a whole new adventure for Angela and her husband. Of course, no home is complete without a little chaos, courtesy of their three beloved dogs: Tiggy, Angus, and Andro (affectionately nicknamed “Old Man Grumpy Pants”).
“They’re our daily joy, our snuggle buddies, and the comic relief we didn’t know we needed,” Angela says. From raising a family to building a career to sharing her home with a pack of lovable pups, Angela describes it all as a journey of laughter, love, and countless sandwiches—and she wouldn’t change a thing.
