Frequently Asked Questions

Why is insurance agency accounting different from traditional accounting?

Insurance accounting involves specialized practices and processes that are unique to the industry. Accountants without insurance experience often lack the necessary skills to appropriately maintain an agency’s financial records.

While Account Managers and CSRs play vital roles in an agency, proper bookkeeping requires specific knowledge and methods that are not typically part of their skill set.

Our program consists of 20 hours of intense, one-on-one training focused on guiding new bookkeepers through the monthly activities of an insurance agency bookkeeper.

Our trainers ensure all training is completed according to established procedures, industry best practices, and AMS360 standards. This creates a strong foundation and builds confidence in both employees and management.

The sessions are led by industry and software experts with deep experience in insurance agency accounting and AMS360.

The training is conducted 100% remotely, saving your agency both time and money while maintaining the highest quality instruction.

The training is conducted in phases that align with the accounting cycle, allowing trainees to ask agency-specific questions and immediately apply what they’ve learned.
